Terms of service
What the service is
Seasonback sends one device browser notifications about one team and one season, as described on our home page. While the service is free there is no charge. If we start charging, the price will be shown before you pay, it will be a one time price for a season that does not renew, and it will not apply to a season you already signed up for.
Not affiliated
Seasonback is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Hockey League, any club, or any player. Team names and arena names are used only to identify the teams and places in the historical record. We do not use team logos.
Accuracy of the data
Notifications are written from historical play by play published by the fastRhockey project. Those records are very good and still contain gaps and errors. We try to correct mistakes that are reported to us.
Timing
Notifications are sent at times based on each game's start time and length. Your device's push service can delay one by a few minutes. Quiet hours you choose may hold one until the morning.
Refunds
If you pay for a season and the notifications do not start or you are not satisfied in the first 14 days, email us and we will refund the purchase. Free seasons have nothing to refund.
Gifts
A gift starts only when the recipient opens the gift link on their own device and allows notifications there. If the link is not opened within 30 days, the gift ends, and if it was paid for we will refund the buyer.
Acceptable use
Do not send a gift link to someone who would not want it. Do not use the service to harass anyone.
Limits
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid, which is nothing for a free season.
